The Ecoflow River 2 Pro Portable Power Station - EU Version is the updated version of the Ecoflow Pro. This power station has a LiFePO4 battery. The big advantage of this battery is the long life and the many charging cycles (3000+). Thanks to the quick charge function, the River 2 Pro can be charged from 0 - 100% within 70 minutes. With a battery capacity of 768 Wh, this power station is suitable for powering devices up to 800W (1600W peak load). Potential end users include lighting, cool boxes, medical equipment, power tools, laptops, smartphones and much more.

In addition to fast charging via the supplied adapter, it is also possible to charge the River 2 Pro via the supplied 12V car charger, or in combination with solar panels. Up to a maximum of 220 W / 50V can be connected via the solar input together with the MC4 to XT60 cable. During good weather conditions, the charging time is on average 5 - 7 hours.

If you use the EcoFlow app, you can control the River 2 Pro from anywhere via WiFi. If you do not have a WiFi network available, you can use the Bluetooth function in the app. Request information about the status and consumption of the Power Station. If you want to adjust settings, you can also do this via the app.

Note: The Ecoflow River 2 Pro Portable Power Station cannot be combined with a River Pro Extra Battery.

  1. Does the RIVER 2 Pro support combined charging(not at home)? like can it have two of the following charge in parallel at the same time: Type C/solar panel/cigarette lighter/AC through car inverter) ?
    The RIVER 2 series does not support charging with two or more methods at the same time. It can be charged using either AC, solar panel, car charger, or Type-C, but only one at a time. The priority for charging is AC > Type-C > PV (solar panel). Please make sure to use only one charging method to prevent any issues with your device.
  2. The instructions say to draw down the battery and then recharge to 60% every 3 months. Just a question - is there a reason for 60%? Is it okay to keep it at 100% or it that a problem. Keeping it for backup power makes sense to keep it fully charged.
    For long-term storage, it is advised to discharge the battery to 30% and recharge it to 60% (or any percentage you want or need) every three months. The number 60% is a better level for the unit storing. But it will be also fine to keep it at 100% if you need.
  3. Can this River 2 Pro power my freezer for extended periods of time if I have it connected to Solar panel? I believe it requires 350W of electricity.
    Yes, the AC output of River 2 Pro is 800W, so if your freezer is about 350W, it will be able to be powered. And the capacity of River 2 pro is 768Wh, with a full charge, it can power your freezer for about 1.8hrs. With the solar panel charging the unit, you can get more running time.
