The bright f/1.8 maximum aperture benefits working in a variety of lighting conditions and also offers greater control over depth of field for isolating subjects with selective focus. Multi-layer coatings have been applied to individual glass elements to suppress flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions. Additionally, a rounded 12-blade diaphragm produces a pleasing bokeh quality.

IT IS AN AMAZING LENS, if you're looking for a super portable/pocket size lens, this is the lens for you. 25mm can be for wide shots or medium to close up shots, also with a f1.8 👌💗 good for lowlight situations. This lens is a vintage arsenal🫶
NOTE: for APS-C sensor cameras, with 1.6x crop factor, it will have an equivalent of 40mm. I have a Canon EOS M camera.
