The Ecoflow Wave 2 Add-on Battery is a compact battery that you can attach to the Ecoflow Wave 2 to create eight hours of self-sustaining operating time. Developed specifically for the Wave 2, the Ecoflow Wave 2 Add-on Battery forms one system. The 2 output ports (USB-A & USB-C) allows charging of all your USB (C) devices in addition to the Wave 2. When the add-on battery is connected to the Ecoflow Wave 2, they can be managed via the Ecoflow app.

  1. Is Wave 2 waterproof and dustproof?
    The Wave 2 is not waterproof or dustproof.
  2. What maintenance operations does Wave 2 require?
    Care and Maintenance
    1. Please close the socket cover after the unit is stored to prevent dust.
    2. After the unit is stored after shutdown, manually drain the unit to prevent bacteria breeding
    in the damp during long-term storage and avoid overflow of water when it is moved next
    time.
    3. It is recommended to store this product within the range of ambient temperature range of
    20°C-30°C (68°F-86°F), and keep this product away from water sources, heat sources, and
    metal objects.
  3. Does Wave need to be drained manually?
    When cooling, Wave 2 produces excess water. What makes Wave 2 unique is that it takes this excess water and sprays it on the internal condenser to evaporate it (which runs hot while in use) without manual drainage. In high humidity environments (70%+ humidity) you may find excess water building up.

    The External Drain Function may be found in the settings menu Automatic Drain > External drainage

    External drainage:
    When the drain pipe is connected to the drainage outlet, press and hold
    the speed button for 3 seconds, and LCD displays [External drainage indicator]. Press and hold
    it again to turn off drainage function. If not turned off, the product will continue to drain out
    when reaching high water level.
  4. Can other power stations power the Wave2?
    Yes, as long as the AC output is over 600W can power Wave.
  5. How do I use Eco Mode?
    Get up to 8 hours cooling with Eco Mode. Just open the app, and select “Eco Mode”, then you’ll be prompted to pick low, medium or high settings. Select which you need for a preview of how long your Wave will run for. Then, it will automatically adjust and switch between cooling and fan modes in intervals to keep you cool for extended periods.
  6. Under cooling mode, how long can Wave battery pack, DELTA Max, and DELTA Pro support the operation of Wave?
    It depends on the battery you choose to use: Wave add-on battery: 3 hours DELTA Max: 5-6 hours DELTA Pro: 12 hours Note: Assumes average power consumption of 300W per hour for Wave under 26° with the lowest volume of air
  7. In how big space is, does Wave 2 have the best cooling performance?
    While Wave can cool most small to medium sized spaces, 8㎡ is optimal for fast cooling. That’s about the size of a four-man tent.
  8. Does Wave support APP control?
    Yes. You can control and even automate operations at a distance using the EcoFlow app. Both Bluetooth and WiFi control are supported.
  9. What is the rated power and maximum cooling capacity of Wave 2?

  10. Can the Add-on battery be charged independently?
    To charge the add-on battery, it must be connected with Wave 2.
