With a 76mm equivalent focal length, the black XF 50mm f/2 R WR is a stylish short telephoto prime for FUJIFILM X-series mirrorless cameras that can be used for both portraiture and still lifes. Working in low light is made easier by the lightweight construction and brilliant f/2 maximum aperture, which also provide a great degree of control over depth of field for selective focus methods. One aspherical ED element in the optical design regulates color fringing and distortion to produce sharper, clearer results across the aperture range. When working in bright and backlit environments, a Super EBC coating is also utilized to reduce flare and ghosting for better contrast and color integrity.
