Insta ace pro impresses me with a lot of features compare to the other action cameras. It has an AI system that can help my editing more easier. Moreover, the staff/salesperson in Altitude is knowledgeable and accomdating in my inquiries regarding the product.

  1. What is the battery capacity Ace Pro? How long does it take to fully charge?
    the battery capacity is 1650mAh and it takes 63 mins to charge with a 5V/3A charger and 46 mins with a 30W quick charger
  2. What is Ace Pro's run time?
    Approximately 100mins
    Measured in a lab environment at 77°F (25°C) with Al Highlights Assistant turned off, recording in 4K@30fps in Active HDR mode
  3. How do I use the gesture control feature on Ace Pro?
    Ace/Ace Pro can be controlled by two different gestures. You can slide down from the top of the screen, tap the gesture icon "✋" > "Gesture Control" to activate this feature. To enable this feature, make sure you are within 1.6 - 5.2ft (0.5 - 1.6m) of the camera and your face is unobstructed.

  4. What type of Micro-SD card should I use?
    To consistently achieve the best results with your Ace/Ace Pro, you should use UHS-I Micro SD cards with a V30 or above speed class and exFAT format, or the shooting may stop and the footage may be damaged by unmatched storage cards. Notice: Please do not use UHS-II, UHS-III Micro SD/TF cards or memory cards larger than 1TB. These cards are not compatible and may cause your recording to fail.
  5. Does Ace Pro support external microphones?
    Yes, with the Insta360 Mic Adapter. We recommend using one of the following models:

  8. What precautions should I take before using Ace/Ace Pro in water?
    1. Make sure the battery cover and USB cover are properly closed and free of sand, dust, and debris.
    2. Lock the Flip Touchscreen. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the lock screen icon. With the touchscreen locked, press the Q button (Ace) or on/off button (Ace Pro) to switch modes, and press the shutter button to select the shooting mode and return to the preview page.
  9. Is the adhesive of the flexible adhesive mount reusable?
    No. The adhesive is for one-time use and can not be reused.
  10. Why does the playback/preview look blurry on the Flip Touchscreen?
    Footage is compressed while viewing on the camera's screen. The actual quality will be based on your shooting parameters. You can view the finished footage through our app or Insta360 Studio on your computer.
  11. How can I turn off Ace/Ace Pro's touchscreen?
    Ace has the option to turn off the screen by pressing the power button once. Ace Pro only supports auto shut-off. You can configure this in the camera's settings.
